The Alexandrian Tradition is one of several British Traditional Witchcraft (BTW) traditions that base their practices on and are descended from the covens found in the New Forest region of Great Britain, in contrast to Eclectic Wicca and other Neo-Pagan Traditions.

Our training format is interactive and experiential, covering such topics as:

•The Tradition: Definition, History, Core Beliefs, the Role of Clergy, Initiations, Covens, Lineage, the Book of Shadows, Holidays and Ethics

•The Deep Mind: Symbolism, Starlight Vision and Poetic Thought, Living One's Myth

•The Etheric Keys: Praxis, Egregore, the Purpose of Tradition

•The Craft: Group Work, Polarity, the Witch's Pyramid, Craft and Ritual Etiquette and the Purpose of Ritual

•Theology of the Wica: The Goddess and God of Witchcraft, Indwelling Divinity, Cosmology and the Wheel of the Year

•Practical Skills: Meditation, Visualization, Prayer, Grounding, Centering, Shielding and Daily Rites

•Essential Reading: Covering the Practice of our Craft, its Founders and the Legacy of the Alexandrian Tradition.

Our Outer Court meets on Sundays approximately twice a month, over a period of four to five months. As per tradition, we levy no fees to teach the Craft, though the Seeker is responsible for purchase of their own materials and books.

This training will provide Seekers of BTW, or those exploring various spiritual paths, a well-rounded introduction and beginning foundation in Alexandrian Witchcraft. Seekers desirous of initiation into a particular BTW Tradition will be offered assistance in linking with groups known to us (assuming such groups exist, of course).
